Description:
A 142 hours Post-Graduate Education Certification Program open to licensed veterinarians; licensed or certified veterinary technicians; licensed physical therapists; licensed nurses; licensed / certified massage therapists or any other licensed health care professional.  Length of the program: 4 (four) Modules (Thursday 8:00 AM until Sunday at 1:00 PM). 

  • Please note that all clinical and practical work is included in the program and NO EXTERNAL (added) externships are required.

VSMT Post Graduate State Approved Certification – Class B – Module II @ Healing Oasis Wellness Center

Second of five Modules.

The curriculum consists of a minimum of 226hours of supervised instruction (both didactic & hands on lab) divided into 5 (five) Modules. There is a maximum of 18 (eighteen) students per class and we will try to keep a maximum ratio of 3 or 4 (three or four) students to 1 (one) instructor for practical labs. As a post-graduate certification program, the individual student will have to set time aside after the Module, to study, practice and integrate the presented information.  Time set aside, will vary from student to student, but its average is about 4-5 hours (minimum) per week.   Please note that all clinical and practical work is included in the program (under direct supervision) and NO external (added) internships are required.  In addition, each student must present a total of 2 cases in a SOAP format during Modules IV or V.  A “case” constitutes either a patient that has been brought or sent to you for a consultation for VSMT care; their primary complaint, objective findings, physical findings and treatment / progress plan.  If you are interested, you may chose between either Class A or B.  See below for specific dates.

Ancillary Procedures to Improve on Spinal Manipulative Therapy Outcomes @ Healing Oasis Wellness Center
