What does the HOWC VSMT Course consist of?

The curriculum consists of a minimum of 226hours of supervised instruction (both didactic & hands on lab) divided into 5 (five) Modules. There is a maximum of 18 (eighteen) students per class and we will try to keep a maximum ratio of 3 or 4 (three or four) students to 1 (one) instructor for practical labs. As a post-graduate certification program, the individual student will have to set time aside after the Module, to study, practice and integrate the presented information.  Time set aside, will vary from student to student, but its average is about 4-5 hours (minimum) per week.  Each student must present a total of 2 cases.  A “case” constitutes either a patient that has been brought or sent to you for a consultation for VSMT care; their primary complaint, objective findings, physical findings and treatment / progress plan.  If you are interested, you may chose between either Class A or B.  See below for specific dates.
